Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your CaddieIQ account (or your account on any other Omnivia Apps product that has account-based sign-in) and the data associated with it. Two routes are provided: an instant in-app option, and a manual email request for people who can no longer access the app.

Quick summary:

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

All apps with account sign-in include a one-tap delete option in Settings:

  1. Open the app on your phone.
  2. Tap Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Scroll to the Account section and expand it.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm in the dialog (it explains what will be removed).

The app immediately calls our servers to remove your account record. You’ll be signed out, and the account cannot be recovered.

2. Request deletion by email (alternative)

If you’ve uninstalled the app, lost access to your sign-in method, or simply prefer to ask us directly, send an email:

We’ll verify the request comes from the account holder (typically by replying from the same email), then action the deletion. Target turnaround: 7 days. We will email you to confirm once it’s done.

3. What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from our systems:

4. Partial data deletion (without deleting your account)

If you’d rather keep your account but remove specific data, use the in-app options:

If you need a specific piece of data removed that isn’t covered by the in-app controls, email us at the address above and describe what you want deleted — we’ll action it within 7 days.

5. Retention of deleted account data

Once deletion is actioned, the data is removed immediately from our active systems. Backups are retained for up to 30 days in encrypted form for disaster recovery purposes, after which they are overwritten and the data is permanently unrecoverable.

The only data we may continue to hold beyond that point is anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. “X total users in May 2026”) that cannot be linked back to an individual.

Under UK and EU GDPR you have the right to request:
